CZ vz 82
 

Just picked up a CZ vz 82 from a guy at the local gun show.

Plan to use this as my ccw gun.

Got the gun with 2 mags, a soft case and 4 boxes of winchester 9X18 ammo.
Total cost $250 with no paper work.

Picked up several boxes of silver bear ammo in addition for $11/box and while it all shoots, it's very dirty and not as powerful as the winchester.
Hornady HPs will be the "duty ammo"

Accurate for a hand gun with very mild recoil.

i just picked one up too yesterday at a gun show.it came with 2-12 mags,holster,lanyard, and cleaning rod.for $220+tax.
im kinda kicking myself in the butt thow.i was so focused on getting rounds for my other guns....i forgot to pick some up for the cz.

HA! I've been guilty of that on more than one occasion.
In fact I now go to gun shows with a shopping list of everything that I want to look at / buy and cross them off as I find them.

They are nice pistols. For anybody who has not seen one up close & personal, and who decided to buy one, DO NOT be alarmed the first time you look down the bore. There IS rifling, although at first glance, the barrel seems to be a smoothbore!

I saw 3 different vendors at the gun show that had 9X18mm and saw 6 boxes on the shelf at the local shooting range. I asked at walmart and the gentleman there said they didn't carry it, but that walmart doesn't carry very much anyway in sporting goods.

Both Cheaperthandirt.com and ammunitiontogo.com both have them in stock.
9X18 doesn't appear to be hard to find, just not as easy as 9mm luger.

cool.thanks BikerJon.i kinda figured walmart would come up short on thows rounds.
thanks for the links.im not to sure about buying rounds over the internet and getting then thru the mail.ill just take a look around yonder.im sure ill find some.if not,ill just wait till the next gun show.it occures once a month over here.
